U.S. Regulatory Landscape of Digital Health Products

Our invited speaker Shawnnah Monterrey is the Founder and CEO of BeanStock Ventures, a medical device product development company and venture studio, also one of the only nine FDA accredited 510(k) review organizations globally. Prior to BeanStock Ventures, she had a nearly two-decade career as a technical leader responsible for developing strategies and leading complex global product development programs, managing software quality assurance departments for both startups and mature organizations, emphasizing on medical instruments, clinical diagnostics and life science applications. Her tenure includes technical leadership roles at Illumina, Covidien (Medtronic), Invetech (Danaher) and Carl Zeiss Meditec. She is a current member of NuFund and NIH Commercialization Readiness Pilot Special Emphasis Review Panel.  Shawnnah holds an executive MBA from SDSU and a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from USCD.  She has received numerous awards and nominations since BeanStock Ventures was founded in 2018.
